Privacy Policy
Andwemet Services Private Limited having its registered office at No. 605, Sanswe Ic, Elan Homes, Opp. Total Mall, Sarjapur Road, Bangalore, Karnataka – 560034, India (“We” / “Our” / “Us”/ “Andwemet”), on behalf of itself and its affiliates/group companies under the brand “andwemet”, provide certain making services to its Members with the aid of Andwemet Community.
This Privacy Policy is pursuant to the signing up as a Member for availing the Services. This Policy together with the Terms, is a legally binding document pursuant to which Member can avail the Services. By accessing and registering through Registration Form, Member acknowledges to have read and accepted this Policy.
The terms of this Policy will be effective upon the acceptance of the same (directly or indirectly in electronic form, by clicking on the “I Agree” tab and will govern the relationship between Andwemet and Member.
This Policy helps the Member to understand the type of information collected, the purpose for which the information is collected; how the information is used; the intended recipients of such information; when it might be disclosed and how Member can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of Member information; and how the information is protected. We take protection and proper use of Member information seriously and are committed to protecting such information in Andwemet possession. Andwemet advise the Member to read this Policy carefully prior to the use of Services or signing up of Registration Form. If Member do not agree to this Policy, please do not use the Services.
This Policy shall be construed to be in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data of Information) Rules, 2011, other applicable data privacy laws that require publishing of the privacy notice for collection, usage, storage, disclosure and transfer of sensitive personal data or information.
Any capitalized terms used herein without definition shall have meanings assigned to them in Terms.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTED
When Member submits the Registration Form and use the Services provided by Andwemet, Andwemet shall collect certain information from Member, the details of which are provided hereinafter. The categories and sources of the Information collected by Andwemet are as follows:
a. Personal Information
Any Information that relates to Member as a natural person, which, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information available or likely to be available to a body corporate, is capable of identifying Member and any further information, including, without limitation, provided by Member to Andwemet when Member submit the Registration Form or when Member avail the Services, as the case may be, such as:
(i) first name and last name,
(ii) mobile number,
(iii) email address,
(iv) gender,
(v) height and weight,
(vi) age,
(vii) city of residence,
(viii) photograph,
(ix) current employment,
(x) current income,
(xi) relationship status, and
(xii) any other sensitive/personal information as defined under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data of Information) Rules, 2011 as amended from time to time and such other data privacy laws whether now in force or in future (“Personal Information”).
b. Transaction and Payment Information
Andwemet or our authorised payment gateway solution providers, collect information such as billing address, credit/debit card number, its expiration date or any other payment instrument details and transaction details of the Member.
c. Messages
Andwemet may collect and process (which includes scanning and analyzing) information Member provide, including any Personal Information, in the context of composing, sending, or receiving messages (that means the content as well as information about when the message has been sent, received and/or read and the participants of the communication) through Andwemet Community and other social media channels, including WhatsApp, in order to render the Services.
2. USAGE OF INFORMATION
a. Andwemet generally uses the information Andwemet collects:
i. to fulfill requests for services; Andwemet Community functionality and information for internal operations;
ii. to conduct necessary background checks on the Member, in a lawful manner, subject to the extent required to perform Andwemet functions and Member hereby agree provide the consent for the same;
iii. To maintain security and help Andwemet detect abuse, fraud, and illegal activity on Andwemet Community;
iv. to communicate with Member including to notify Member about changes in the services;
v. for any other purposes disclosed to Member at the time Andwemet collect Member’s information or pursuant to Member’s consent.

b. Andwemet shall not sell or rent Member’s Personal Information to anyone, for any reason, at any time. However, Andwemet will be sharing Member’s Personal Information with Andwemet’s affiliates and business partners to the extent necessary. Andwemet assure that it will always seek Member’s consent to process certain types of information where it is legally required to do so.
3. SHARING OF INFORMATION
Andwemet wants Member to understand when and with whom Andwemet may share the information Andwemet collect for business purposes. Members’ information is shared with others in the following ways:
a. Member agrees and acknowledges that certain Personal information and other information that Member provide to Andwemet, will be made available to the other members of Andwemet Community, in connection with Services as agreed under the Terms.
b. Andwemet may disclose any of the information that Andwemet collects to respond to summons, court orders, legal process, law enforcement requests, legal claims, or government inquiries, and to protect and defend the rights, interests, safety, and security of Andwemet, Andwemet’ s affiliates, users, service provider, or the public. Andwemet may also share any of the information that Andwemet collects to enforce any terms applicable to Andwemet, to exercise or defend any legal claims, and comply with any applicable laws.
c. Andwemet may share all of the information Andwemet collects in connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as sale, a merger, consolidation, asset sales, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy.
d. Andwemet share the categories of Personal Information listed above with service providers and business partners to help Andwemet perform business operations and for business purposes.
4. RIGHTS OF MEMBER
a. In certain circumstances, Member shall have the right to access the Personal Information that Andwemet holds about Member and to correct, update, or request deletion Member’s Personal Information. Prior to the fulfilment of Member’s request concerning his/her Personal Information, Andwemet will ask Member to verify his/her identity before Andwemet can act upon such Member’s request. Members have the following rights:
i. The right to request proper rectification, removal or restriction of Member’s Personal Information;
ii. The right to require free of charge (1) confirmation of whether Andwemet process Member’s Personal Information and (2) access to a copy of the Personal Information retained;
iii. The right to take legal actions in relation to any breach of Member rights regarding the processing of the Personal Information, as well as to lodge complaints before the competent data protection regulators.
iv. The right not to be subject to any automatic individual decisions which produces legal effects on Member or similarly significantly affects Member;
v. Where the processing of Member’s Personal Information is based on Member’s consent, the right to withdraw Member’s consent at any time without impact to data processing activities that have taken place before such withdrawal or to any other existing legal justification of the processing activity in question;
vi. Where processing of Member’s Personal Information is either based on Member consent or necessary for the performance of a contract with Member and processing is carried out by automated means, the right to receive the Personal Information concerning Member in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to have Member’s Personal Information transmitted directly to another company, where technically feasible (data portability);
b. As far as Andwemet process Member’s Personal Information on the basis of Andwemet legitimate interests, Member can object to processing at any time. The Member can find a detailed description of Andwemet’ s processing activities and the legal basis in the clauses above. If Member objects to such processing, Andwemet shall ask Member to state the grounds of the objection in order for Andwemet to examine the processing of Member’s Personal Information and decide whether to adjust the processing accordingly.
5. SECURITY
a. It is agreed and understood by the Member that the Andwemet uses WhatsApp community as the platform for collecting the Personal Information. It shall not be liable for any glitches and technical errors on WhatsApp. Andwemet follows generally accepted standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to it, both during transmission and once Andwemet receives it. Since no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, therefore, Andwemet cannot guarantee its absolute security. If Member have any questions about the security, Member can contact Andwemet at [•].
b. Andwemet databases are protected from general employee access both physically and logically.
c. Andwemet enforce physical access controls to its buildings. No employee can put Personal Information on any insecure machine (i.e., nothing can be taken from the database and put on an insecure laptop). Andwemet permit only authorized employees who are trained in the proper handling of customer information, to have access to aforesaid Personal Information.
6. STORAGE AND TRANSFER OF INFORMATION
a. By using the Services, Member expressly consent to any such transfer and storage of information outside of Member ‘s country of residence, where data protection laws may be different and/or less stringent. However, Andwemet will endeavor to take reasonable measures to keep up an adequate level of data protection also when sharing Member’s Personal Information with such countries.
b. Andwemet makes no representation or warranty with respect to any duty to permanently store any information Member may provide or that Andwemet otherwise collect about Member except as required by the laws in India.
c. Andwemet strives to keep its processing activities with respect to Member’s Personal Information as limited as possible. In the absence of specific retention periods set out in this Policy, Member’s Personal Information will be retained only for as long as Andwemet needs it to fulfil the purpose for which it has collected and, if applicable, as long as required by statutory retention requirements. Typically, this means Andwemet retains Member’s Personal Information for as long as Member avails the Services and for up to 180 days following the expiry of the engagement between the parties. Please note that statutory storage obligations or the need for legal actions that may arise from misuse of the Services can lead to a longer retention of Member’s Personal Information. By using the Services and providing Andwemet with information (including Personal Information), Member waive any claims that may arise under Member own or any other local or national laws, rules or regulations or international treaties. Andwemet may from time to time transfer or merge Member information collected off-line to Andwemet online databases or store off-line information in an electronic format. This Policy applies to Member information for as long as the Member’s information is in Andwemet’s possession, even if Member terminate or discontinue Member’s use of the Services.
d. In the event that Andwemet undergoes re-organization, are sold to, or merged with a third party, or sell all or substantially all of Andwemet assets, any Personal Information Andwemet hold about Member may be transferred to that re-organized entity or third party in compliance with applicable law.
e. In the unlikely event of Andwemet bankruptcy, insolvency, reorganization, receivership, or assignment for the benefit of creditors, or the application of laws or equitable principles affecting creditors’ rights generally, Andwemet may not be able to control how Member Personal Information is treated, transferred, or used.
7. INTIMATION BY YOU REGARDING CHANGE IN PERSONAL INFORMATION
If Member’s Personal Information is provided to Andwemet when Member had signed up the Registration Form changes, Member must update it as soon as possible. To review and update Member Personal Information by sending an email to info@andwemet.com .
Note: Andwemet will retain Member’s information for as long as needed to provide the Services. If Member wish that Andwemet no longer uses Member’s information to provide the Services, Member can delete the information by sending an email to info@andwemet.com . However, Andwemet will retain and use Member information as necessary to comply with Andwemet’s legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce its agreements.
8. CHANGES TO POLICY
Andwemet may update this Policy from time to time. When Andwemet update the Policy, it will notify Member by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy and providing any other notice required by applicable laws.

In the event that Member wish to make a complaint or request concerning Member Personal Information or Andwemet’s privacy practices, or have questions, concerns, or comments about this Policy, please contact Andwemet in the first instance at [•] and Andwemet will endeavor to deal with Member request as soon as possible. This is without prejudice to Member right to launch a claim with the data protection authority or follow the dispute process set forth in the Terms.
